I wrote these and many other poems during 2006 - both a beautiful and quite a difficult year - when it felt as though the 'transformation' of the planet was happening to me - personally.

I never expected to be writing poetry. I never studied writing in school and up until recently, I considered most creative endeavors to be peripheral to what's most important in life. All of that changed in February 2006. One day I woke up and these poems just came out of me, and continued to pour out.

I just finished my first spoken word CD entitled "And so I asked god, 'How do I let love in?' and the answer was YES!" which is available through CD Baby. In addition to the original poetry and spoken word, I've also been having fun taking some of my funny tshirt ideas and turning them into reality. Check it out!
